Rubber Plants make fabulous, easy care, household plants. With their beautiful deep green foliage backed by a pink tinge, they can easily make a statement of their own. Rubber plants prefer loads of light but not direct sunlight. Placing by a window with a sheer curtain is an ideal spot for a Rubber Plant. Well draining soil is essential for your Rubber Plant so as not to get root rot. Keep the soil moist during the hotter months but not soggy. During the winter months your Rubber Plant might only require a once monthly water, just watch for when it's leaves start droop and you'll know it needs a drink. Keep their leaves clean by misting often or wiping with a damp cloth and fertilise only during the growing season. These beauties can grow up to 3m high indoors but growth is restricted by the pot size you choose to keep them in.
